This booklet is the first of its kind. Its purpose is to provide hope through a ‘Bodymind’ approach that helps those who struggle with chronic pain. This colourful and beautifully illustrated booklet brings together the latest in pain neuroscience and a new understanding of how the mind works (The 3 Principles), in order to help the reader see that they are not broken. Pain is a complex journey. It takes more than just understanding the body. It’s about understanding how the mind works as well. This booklet offers hope by helping to bring clarity and insight that will unlock the mystery of the mind and bring freedom from chronic pain.
I am a Physiotherapist with over 35 years of experience working with those who struggle with pain. As an expert level Myofascial Release Therapist, I now work mostly with patients who have persistent pain conditions, offering hands-on treatment and Bodymind Coaching Conversations. I strongly believe in the need to approach chronic pain from both the body and mind. I am also the author of “Finding Mystery Within.”
